BANGKOK!!!

I’m at an internet cafe outside of our hotel. I made it on the LONG flight and I am writing about my trip as much as I can in my journal, which I’ll share when I get back to the states. So far, I haven’t gotten sick (praise God, thank you for all your prayers) – maybe some jet lag and a sore throat but I think that’s from the air conditioning in our room.

Last night we went on outreach and I was able to speak with a few girls – man, I can’t wait to tell you what it’s like here and what we’ve been doing – but I don’t have much time on this computer. Anyways, I’ve eaten some pretty trippy stuff since I’ve been here and on the plane – and seen some interesting stuff too. The weather here is about 85-90 degrees on average but it’s bearable. (More bareable to me than the airconditioning in the room)

Today we are going to visit the Temple and also go shopping. It’s only like 7 American dollars for an HOUR long message here. That’s what I plan on getting today! :)

Next Day…(3rd day in Bangkok)

Now I only have a few more minutes on this computer so here goes. Yesterday I did SO MUCH that I had to ask for the morning off from my body aching so bad. We walked everywhere (and with a mission/purpose, I could hardly keep up) we rode the skytrain, went on top of a 89 floor building that spun around so we could see the whole city – we prayed up there. Then we rode a ‘tuktuk’ – small motor car that seats like 2-3 people (if they’re skinny people) – our driver was so fun – he drove fast, even popped a few wheelies and wove in and out of traffic – we screamed the whole time. It was SO FUN!!! Lol!

We also saw the Grand Temple (TRIP OUT, I’ll have to describe it later) rode city transportation – a BOAT – and praise God I didn’t get sick – because it went so fast on top of the water…I saw a leper, man with 1/4 head missing playing a guitar for money, many people on the street have missing limbs…I ate a a restaurant with COCKAROCHES crawling all over the walls (yes, it was pretty difficult for me, I couldn’t eat much) – had to eat squatty bathrooms with no toilet paper (I now carry some with me) I fed an elephant (SO FUN) and yes, went to the redlight district to minister last night.

There are vendors that sell fried bugs (ooh yum yeah right) and ate the yummiest fruit. That’s about all I can tell now because of the time, but there are so many amazing stories to tell when I get home and have time. It’s amazing here, I’d love to come back, God has opened up my heart and mind so much, I’ve been on the merge of tears almost the whole time I’ve been here, humbled, moved and just straight blown away. The people are wonderful, the food is okay – the massage I got earlier was awesome and I have SO MUCH to do later and the next few days…I am so homesick for Pablo and Daryl and Ziggy though. I’ve talked to Daryl every day since I’ve been here.

Thank you so much for your prayers, I can totally feel them – there is so much spiritual warfare going on but yet I feel such an invisible ‘bubble’ of God’s protection it’s crazy. I totally feel a covering and yet it is SO DARK here especially the redlight district – oppression big time. I can’t wait to get home and share what God is doing here.

Praise His HOLY NAME, I am SO GLAD and BLESSED that I came on this trip, and KNOW without a DOUBT that I am supposed to be here – and excited to share my testimony at the church tomorrow. PLEASE PRAY that the Lord touches many people’s hearts. Most of the people that I will share with are NOT Christian yet. Thanks so much!!!
