So i instantly did as I had my laptop right there and I was stunned to see that today was the day he died. I was very angry with him and I still am. You see, he was one of my best friends from about age 12 to age 19 or 20. We met on an ant-drug television show. I was hosting and performing and he sang on it. His mother and my mother were best friends. I looked you up because I wasn't sure the context of how you might have known him, In the last 10 or so years of his life he really turned away from his "old" friends, except maybe a guy named Billy and a guy named Ira. I'll leave it at that! But I used to be a reporter for CBN News, so I saw the interview you did on the 700 Club. I forgive him---I'm glad God told you he is with HIm But I'm still just so angry with him for ever even getting to that FIRST step into drug use. I don't understand it---he was LAST person who would have lacked the confidence to just walk away. Everything you said about him was correct and that's what I told my husband and son today: he was electric and a leader, not a follower. So how he followed someone into the drug scene is beyond me.
