Can I be real transparent? Well, I'm going to be. Monday, I went to see the (a) neurologist, and another doctor - I guess a proctologist is what you'd call him. I won't go into detail about what I had to see him for - it might be too much information for some...but basically, he scheduled me to get a colonoscopy one of these days - I'll find out when in the mail. (County Hospital) I may cancel the appointment when I get it - because it may cost too much - Daryl makes too much for us to qualify for Medi-Cal - but we don't have insurance... Well... there were some crazy things that happened earlier in the day - just little distractions - like we didn't know who we could find to drive (because Daryl wasn't going to go with us at first because he was going fishing at 6am) so because we weren't able to find a ride Daryl agreed to go on the outreach at 1am instead of 3am - and stay up through the night and go fishing. Then because Fred takes the bus from Torrance to Hollywood every week - his last bus runs at 11:57pm - he gets to Hollywood at about 1am - we said we'd pick him up at his bus stop at 1pm. Ziggy is the cutest (in my opinion at least) dog. :) I can't stop taking pictures of him, he's so cute and I love him so much - but I don't know how much longer we'll have him. :( I want to keep him and I pray that we can... I don't know if that's mean but his owner moved into a place where there are no pets allowed and he had this sweet cute doggie (Ziggy is his name) for months, snuck him in and out of his apartment but one day he was at work and his landlord knocked on the door and Ziggy barked. Wow, that was quick. Didn't even take 2 weeks. Pretty cool. I also have enough money for my first "installment" for my plane ticket to Bangkok ($1,000) PRAISE GOD!!! Thanks to everyone and who has shown so much support in your prayers and finances - and most of all of course, I PRAISE JESUS who is just making this all happen!!! Woohoo! The next (and last) payment (till the trip in January) is by December 12th - $1,160. Remember the 17 year old girl I talked to on Friday on outreach who went by the nickname, 'Y**'? Well, she just called me a few minutes ago. She asked me if I remembered her (of course I do) and then she said that she was wondering what it is that I do. So, last night we (me, Daryl, Fred, Sara and Julia) drove to the Long Beach (actually, it's more like Lynwood/Compton) and when we got there, we first saw a bunch of cops, like four in a row - drive by us. That's always a bad sign for us, because the cops scare everyone away. It was funny, because before we left the house, I had made uo 10 gift bags for the girls - and when we were leaving, Daryl said, "Why don't you only bring a few bags and leave some home?" I'm excited cause I'm sure that I'm going to Bangkok as long as my passport goes through and all the finances come in. God is so awesome. This will probably (as usual) be long. I have lots to tell. I think I'll break this up into two emails... Okay. Last night (this morning) we met at the office and there was six of us, including Daryl and I. After praying, I really felt strongly that we should go to the LB area, so because Daryl was going fishing and had to be back in Hollywood by 5:30 he decided to stay back while we just took one car (a small one) and packed all 5 of us in there. This will be short (I think) cause we didn't get home till about 6:30 this morning and I didn't sleep after we got home because our next door neighbor was moving and was making tons of noise...so needless to say, I'm exhausted - ready for bed.
