Well, I went to see G in the county jail again this morning. The man is SO called of God - and he knows it. Anyway, it was weird cause when I went up to the glass window, grabbed the phone and said "Hi" - he immediately asked, "What's wrong? Is everything okay? You don't seem like yourself - what's going on?" It wasn't as if I wasn't feeling good - but I'll admit that I was a bit preoccupied cause I had to rush over to the county hospital after the visit and get blood drawn (I HATE getting blood drawn cause I have no veins) and then make an appointment to get another MRI on my brain. Okay, most people who know me know about my suicide attempt by jumping off the roof of my eight story apartment. (landing on my head) Well, before I did that now nine years ago - I never got migraine headaches - and didn't even get any after the jump - until about two (?) years ago. Well, a concern of both mine and the doctors (I see a different one everytime I go to the county hospital) is that these headaches just started occurring recently and because of my prior head trauma/brain injury. This morning I had an opportunity to briefly share a bit about putting the gift bags together for the prostitutes. After I spoke I kinda kicked myself because I didn't even share that we gave away seven bags Friday and that the girls loved them! Okay I want to write this now while it's fresh in my memory - we just got home (6am) and I'm pretty wiped but the outreach went so well! We met up at Reality LA office, it was me, Daryl, Fleurett, Rebekah and Fred. We prayed together before going to the spot where we were gonna do outreach and prayed over the gift bags too. Well, I just got back from Target - yay! I bought 20 ten dollar gift cards and some bags and my friend Heidi went out and bought some little bibles and more gift bags for the prostitutes we reach out to.
