Wow. I am forever humbled by His love…
The Lord has given us such a great new apartment! Yesterday after Daryl got off work, it was still baking hot outside. So we went SWIMMING in our new apartment’s swimming pool. 
Earlier I woke up feeling ILL again – this is so weird – I thought it may be because I am just so exhausted from running around every day since the whole bed bug issue…but then I discovered that the same chemical that I believe I am allergic or sensitive to is in ANOTHER face wash I bought yesterday at the beauty supply. I used to use this brand of face wash and other products years ago when I worked in the salon as a stylist – so I didn’t think twice about looking at the ingredients. Could it be?
Earlier I was just completely EXHAUSTED to the point of feeling DRUGGED. Could hardly keep my eyes open, just took a shower thinking it would pep me up – and then ended up turning off my phone, crawling back into bed. I slept for two hours…anyone who knows me knows that unless I’m sick – I can’t even take a nap when I WANT to.
So I’m probably going to have to return my face wash. Darn. Oh well. I’m still feeling pretty drained, but Daryl and I are going out to dinner with a friend tonight so I’m psyching myself up right now.
I’m so grateful to have this apartment – to be able to REST and relax…even if all we have is a bed right now. That’s all I need.
Well, I just got off the phone with G. He spent Sunday with us – we picked him up for church and after church went to lunch, he saw our new place – and then we went to IKEA! He came with us, and by the time we went to dinner after IKEA the poor guy was falling asleep! He had been up since the day before so he was pretty tired.
Anyway, He said that he’s looking into starting a LEGITIMATE business – possibly starting a LEGITIMATE modeling agency – doing print work, helping people get work – he has some friends in the industry… he told us on Sunday that when he was younger he was interested in film and photography… I’m excited for him. I ray that the Lord will bring the resources and people he needs to make this happen – for GOD’s glory!!!
Please continue praying for him – he still hasn’t SURRENDERED everything to God YET, but he’s definitely well on his way. God is moving. G said that he had fun on Sunday, that hanging out with us brought ‘calm.’ He said he really enjoyed hanging out, that he considers us TRUE FRIENDS – and that if we ever needed anything from him he would be happy to help us. (We just want him to get saved!!! Lol.)
Anyway, time to get ready to go to dinner…
