Please pray for these precious people..
Last night was great. Daryl and I spoke at Coffee House at the Dream Center and they had asked if we had a video or DVD we could show and yes, we did – our friend Jed finished the one he did which shares my testimony and AFTER HOURS so we showed that. Thanks Jed!
After speaking, we had so many people approach us and what was really awesome, cause we were able to pray with a number of them.
Please pray for these precious children of God!!!
Amber – a young lady who is presently on the street, but she shared that she prostituted a few years ago when she was on drugs. She had a boyfriend who pimped her out and the way she ended up getting away from him was when he went to prison for a prior crime he committed before she knew him. She has a daughter that she is trying to get back and she is trying to get her life back together. She said that she is so grateful that she was able to get out of the drugs and prostitution.
Fransisco – our hearts broke for this young man – he was so troubled – he was waiting patiently until I finished talking to Amber and I grabbed Daryl and we went to speak with him. He spoke very broken english and he wanted so bad for us to understand what he was saying. He said after hearing our testimony that he thought that he could talk to us. He asked if we believed that he could be ‘tracked’ – that someone could put a chip in his body and follow him around…we just listened and we could see that this was very real to Fransisco. Daryl shared that when he was on speed he saw people following him and said that if Fransisco thought that someone was following him that he should buy a camera and whenever he saw someone following him, he should take a picture of that person and give it to the police. We also asked him if he did drugs and he said yes, speed (no wonder) but he said he hadn’t done it for a week.
I asked him if he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and he said yes, he did – and so we asked if we could pray with him. Daryl started praying and felt led o ask him if he’d been involved with the occult or witchcraft before, and Fransisco said yes. Daryl told him to repent and ask God to forgive him. Fransisco totally cried out to God and asked God to forgive him.We prayed and asked God to break the strongholds over Fransisco’s life and commanded the enemy to loose him in Jesus name. It was such a blessing, Fransisco got down on his knees and was crying – weeping…he kept thanking us and said he would never forget us and he kept praising God and said that he is on the waiting list to go to the Dream Center discipleship. Praise God!!!
My heart still goes out to him. I’ve been praying for him all morning. He just wanted someone to listen to him, and to believe him… he said that everyone he’s talked to about this has just told him it’s the drugs (which it most likely is) but Daryl said that because the speed world is so wicked and there are so many bad people in that lifestyle – Fransisco very well could have someone watching him if he ripped someone off or something. But regardless, we could see how important it was that someone believed him.
Brian – a 20 year old young man who said he thought he’d hit rock bottom but after seeing my testimony that he felt his rock bottom was nothing! Daryl told Brian that he didn’t have to go that far down before he gets his life together. He let us pray for him and said that he wanted to change his life – that he got saved when he was 14 but fell away. He is considering discipleship.
There are a few other people, Bill (struggling on forgiving himself for his past and is having a hard time believing in God), Ruben, Ali… I don’t have time to write about everyone but these people are so special to God and I just want to ask to please say a prayer for them. Thanks!
