Please pray for these precious people..

Saturday, June 30th, 2007
Last night was great. Daryl and I spoke at Coffee House at the Dream Center and they had asked if we had a video or DVD we could show and yes, we did - our friend Jed finished the one he did which shares my testimony and AFTER HOURS so we showed that. Thanks Jed! After speaking, we had so many people approach us and what was really awesome, cause we were able to pray with a number of them. Please pray for these precious children of God!!! Amber - a young lady who is presently on the street, but she shared that she prostituted a few years ago when she was on drugs. She had a boyfriend… Read More

Discipleship…

Monday, June 25th, 2007
This week is crazy. Next month is crazier. So far, I have three speaking engagements, one being in Fort Defiance AZ - we still have no idea how we're going to get there - we're hoping to be able to get a car by then. (July 19-21) In the meantime....? Last night we went to see a friend Tony graduate from Masters Commission at Angelus Temple (Dream Center). It's a great discipleship program and a real accomplishment. He shared his testimony of how he has been struggling with homosexuality all his life, and how Jesus delivered him while he was going through MC. There is freedom in confession, bringing things to the light - the enemy uses our secrets… Read More

Outreach Last Night…

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007
Well, it started Wednesday when I ate dinner and got really sick about an hour later. Daryl and i were going to walk down the street to get a Jamba Juice when all of a sudden I was hit with major nausea and thought it would pass...but didn't. We walked all the way to the end of the block and I was leaning over the trash can. Thankfully, we made it home before my whole dinner came up.:( I was bummed cause I worked all day to prepare it, but I doubt I'll ever make that again. Memories. Daryl didn't get sick though, so I'm not sure what happened. Anyway, yesterday was awesome, I took the bus to Angelus Temple for Pastor School and got to see our… Read More

My day, and prayer for outreach Friday…

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007
Well, I took the bus to the Grove this morning. I wanted to get some fruit from Farmers Market and I also had to go to Whole Foods across te street. But first I went to Nordstom, cause I am almost out of my mascara. When I went to the makeup department which is smack right there as soon as you walk in - across from the shoes (two of most women's biggest weaknesses) along with purses not too far - I saw a purse with a sign that said, "Huge Sale" and I thought it was cute so I picked it up. Yowza! On sale, it was $841.00!!!!!!! The original price was $1400+ I couldn't believe it. I mean, I could believe it, but what I couldn't do is imagine spending… Read More

Eat as if your life depends on it!

Monday, June 11th, 2007
Because it might! At least it does with me. As most of you know, I have been struggling with numerous illnesses for over six years. Well, I am so sick of it! I have decided to take responsibility for my body and have made a decision to eat right and although I may not feel 100% yet - I tell you that I KNOW that I would be a LOT worse off if I hadn't changed my diet. This morning I did not 'feel' like juicing - even less like cleaning the juicer afterwards! But I will push myself to do what i do not feel like doing. I made a yummy (seriously, very yummy) juice with one yellow bell pepper, one peeled lemon, one apple, a bunch of kale, a 4oz. container… Read More

God is good, all the time…

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007
Well, I FORCED myself to get up today. I was craving a carrot/orange juice and some HEALTHY, RAW food. My favorite restaurant at the moment and for the last few weeks since Daryl and I discovered it - is CRU, in Silverlake on Griffith Park Blvd. It's an all RAW, ORGANIC, VEGAN restaurant. I LOVE it! The food is amazing - it's hard to believe how creative they are preparing the food and how AMAZING the food tastes! It's a bit pricey but it is so worth it. I'm really leaning towards going raw - and as much organic as possible. I feel so much better when I eat that way. But I was bummed to remember while I was already on the bus that CRU is closed… Read More

Okay, I don't think I'm crazy…

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007
I've been researching - because this illness is upsetting me so much. This morning while I was taking a shower (praise God that today I felt well enough to take one) I grabbed my new face cleanser to wash my face and noticed a "CAUTION:" on the tube. I thought that was odd so I went to look at the ingredients and one included similar components of the same chemical that was in my hair dye. I googled it and sheesh! I don't understand why of how they can use these hazardous chemicals on our own bodies! (Dipropylene Glycol) Anyway, I also came across something called MCS Multiple Chemical Sensitivity - it is not yet recognized by the AMA, but it… Read More
