Tonights Outreach
We are so excited – my friend Sarah who is another
ex-prostitute are going out tonight where we know for
sure there are a lot of prostitutes AND pimps!
At first we were concerned cause Daryl’s going fishing
at 6am (and the area we’re going to is kind of far) so
isn’t going to be able to go out with us – and he
didn’t want me and Sarah going out alone… (it’s his
‘rule’ – unless Daryl is with me there has to be a
male there, not just me and a girlfriend) so I started
praying and asking God for a guy who could come out
with us tonight!
After talking with my friend Paula who gave us the
scoop on the area – I was determined. She said that
there were so many girls out last weekend – in shifts
- a bunch dropped off around 4am, then they
disappeared and another group of like 16 around 5am!!!
Plus pimps and runners everywhere! Just like I like
it!
I sent out a mass text for people to pray and as I was
going down the list of addresses, I saw our friend
Giacomo – and called him! He’s a
marine/actor/screenwriter/stuntman but most
importantly LOVES JESUS and has a heart for the
prostitutes and pimps. Yay! So Sarah and I are
soooo excited. We’ve been planning on this all week,
so we were happy to hear that Giacomo is going to
come out with us! Praise God!!!
Anyway, we are going to Mosaic church again on Monday
to hear a woman named Annie from Nightlight – she
reaches out to the prostitutes in the brothels in
Bangkok Thailand. If anyone is interested in coming,
please write me for the info!
