Please, I know this is long, but seriously, you have to read this till the end to hear about the blessing(s) - God BLOWS MY MIND as always! Wow. Well, tonight we are planning on going out - we're not exactly sure where yet. There haven't been too many pimps or prostitutes out where we go - at least not the ones we know... we considered going a bit further (quite a bit further - like 40 miles away, in Orange County) but right now we are so broke, gas is so expensive and I call our van the "Gas Guzzling Beast" - so we need to stay local for now. Well...because many of the people we reach out to do ungodly, immoral and even illegal things - it is sometimes difficult to write in detail about people and certain situations cause we don't want to incriminate anyone. We share some of the situations or conversations we've had with particular people so that other people can learn from them or be encouraged by them, we just don't use anyone's name, unless we have their permission. Praise God - we just moved over the weekend. We now live in Hollywood - on the East side. There are some 18th St. gang members on our street and the 'track' (where the prostitutes work) is down the street from us... it's great! Anyway, this month is a busy one, which is great because Daryl still hasn't been able to get a job yet and our rent is almost $1000mo.for a single! (Rent is expensive around here) Yikes. But we know that the Lord would not have given us this place if He will not provide the funds for it.
