Well, just as I expected - since the weather is warming up, people are starting to trickle out onto the street again. Last night (this morning) we were out around 3am to 5am. We went to a few different areas but this time we didn't get out and walk around - mostly drove up and down the 'track'/streets where the prostitutes and pimps work. There was one pimp who was very angry that we pulled up and parked - we hadn't even gotten out of the car yet and he walked by and gave us the finger. I smiled. Yesterday we were so blessed to go to Liberty Tabernacle Ministries church service with Pastor David Cross in Gardena. What a blessing! Pastor Cross had me share my testimony and then Daryl joined me to share some of what we do on the streets, ministering to prostitutes and pimps. The people there were all such a blessing and we were so honored to be there! I had been wanting and praying to God that He would allow me to speak at an African American church! What an answer to prayer! Pastor Cross is such a humble man with such a sweet spirit. We look forward to being able to work with him and his church family again soon. Wow. Well, it's two weeks before Daryl and I have to be moved out of here. As of yet, we have no place to go...the last week has been spent trying to find an apartment, with no success. The first place we tried at was only $675 a month - and they rejected us because of bad credit. So we decided to try and go through one of those Home Finder places (actually this one is called Home Locators) - maybe they could help us find a place for us...
