MYSPACE
Yes, I have a myspace. I got it months ago. One of the pimps we minister to came to church and brought his mother and also his son – and it was awesome because later that day the young man (the son) called me and shared that he was saved and was on fire for the Lord at one time but he fell away. He let me pray for him and he told me he had a myspace but I didn’t back then and wasn’t ever planning to but I wasn’t able to write to him unless I had a myspace too. So, that’s why I got one.
Then I figured that it would be another great way to minister online and share my testimony – and I have met some great people on there and also found a bunch of old friends from the past.
Yesterday I spoke at Reality LA church and it was such a blessing. God is so good. There were so many people who came up and talked to Daryl and I afterwards and they are interested in our ministry to the pimps and prostitutes. It was so encouraging to meet people that want to support us and who want to come on outreaches with us! Many (most) of the people who attend at Reality are actors and musicians and many don’t keep ‘regular’ 9-5 jobs or hours and they have such a heart for Hollywood. Perfect!
We are so excited to see what God is going to do this coming year!
Our friend Hector also told me about a myspace called “PORNOGRAPHY DESTROYS BEAUTY” and I visited the web site and also ‘met’ a lot of other women who used to do porn, strip and prostitute! I read some of their testimonies and I was so blessed. I hope to hook up with a couple of them, especially those that are local. These girls are beautiful from the inside out and they are also ON FIRE for JESUS! What an encouragement for me to see other women who have come out of some horrendous lifestyles and are now in love with Jesus and serving God! I am going to put them on my ‘top friend’s list’ so that anyone else will be able to read their testimonies!
