I am more than willing to answer any individual questions people have and will answer them best a can, when I can. I believe that God has given me a willingness to share openly and honestly without holding back, any of the things IÄôve done – even the most personal questions. Although I regret many of the things I did while I was living in my addiction or wish IÄôd done some of the things in my past differently, I have chosen not to Äòbeat myself upÄô over those things I cannot change now. I am not ashamed of my past. What good would that do? I canÄôt change it, but I can change my today. GOD has forgiven me. Who am I to hold my past against me?
My hope is that I can reach out and help people however the Lord leads. I am not a shrink or doctor – just a real life human being. (The key word here is ÄòrealÄô) I am SO far from being perfect or even close to be, and I donÄôt ever want to come off as if I think I am! I canÄôt stand those Äòholier than thouÄô kind of people and never want to become like one. I have nothing to offer anyone, except Jesus Christ. I love people, and love to help people, but I donÄôt want to draw attention to myself. I only want to draw people to God, because truly, He is the only answer to all of lifeÄôs questions.
I would love to receive letters or e-mails from people who read this site or have read this site. I try to personally reply to each person who sends e-mails to me.

Luke Bogue gave me your website…I’m new to LA…long story of how/why I’m here…but anyways, I’m looking for an avenue to get involved in ministry with prostitues-I’d love to chat with you and hear more about what you do and what the scene’s like down here.

We are looking for other programs that may have some help or words of support. We are located in Portland Oregon and wish to minister to Prostitutes who are working on the street. We looked at your site and feel like we have similar beliefs and ministry style. We’d love to see some of your tracts to get a feel for what works. Pam has been a Christian pretty much all her life and teaches Hebrew Folk dance, and is partnering with Ivy who was a 13 year old prostitute and drug addict and is gifted with evangelism. We feel a burden for the prostitutes in our community and would appreciate any help or advice you feel like giving.

Was at Liberty Tabernacle Ministries when you and your husband shared your testimonies. In fact I am the brother who asked you for contact information and the first to respond to the pastor’s request to bless you two.
Anyway I want to bless you again. I hear you two are tapped out from moving. Although I am trying to move myself (with simular credit challenges) I am moved to bless you.

I visited your site, read your history, and wow, I don’t know what to say. After reading your story it made me wonder…..what happened to Tracy? You see, I was a friend of Tracy’s a while back, and I know you and I have met, and even spent some time together. I used to keep contact with Tracy since we met in Hawaii. We went to school together, and even college (MCPV) for a short period. I don’t know if you remember me, I’m Deena. Hi Laurie! I was linked to your website when I ‘googled’ Harold Pruett’s name. I had a HUGE crush on him when he played “Steve Randle” in The Outsiders and the other night I wondered what happened to him and wanted to see some latest pics of him, so I ‘googled’ and found out about his tragic death. I cried when I read about it, I had no idea. I was in shock! He had such a promising career to be cut so short…I’m speechless!
Wanted to let you know that your story is amazing and I wish you nothing but the best. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know!

ONE OF THE THINGS WE SO DESPERATELY NEED ARE TESTIMONIES OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE COME OUT OF SIMILAR LIVES, SO WE CAN LET THE GIRLS READ THEM. Do you know of any ministries on Portland Oregon, which help prostitutes get off the street? I know a woman who engages in prostitution out of desperation who is trying to leave it. I don’t have anywhere to send her.
